Restriction or Embargo on the Release of your Thesis Contents
It is the intention of the University of Toronto that there be no restriction on the distribution and publication of theses. However, in exceptional cases, the author, in consultation with the thesis supervisor and with the approval of the Chair of the graduate unit, shall have the right to postpone public access for a period of up to two years from the date of the student's convocation.
Restricting the release date requires signatures of both the author and the Chair of the author's graduate unit. This form must be submitted to the Doctoral or Masters Office of the School of Graduate Studies and a copy retainedat the candidate's graduate unit.
