  • This application form is intended for any graduates of the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education who wish to run for a seat on the Executive Board of the OISE Alumni Association (OISEAA) in the 2026 Biennial Elections.

    Executive Board members help generate, lead and monitor global alumni initiatives, professional development opportunities and the association’s financial activities. They offer their insights and ideas to enhance the University of Toronto experience for our alumni, student volunteers, and friends, while steering the alumni association.

    Requirements:

    • To solidify your intent to run, candidates must complete the application form below. You will be asked to attach your photo for our website. Please ensure the accuracy of the information you submit.

    • Only OISE alumni are eligible to run for a position.

    • The Board serves a two-year term, and members can serve in person or online. The OISEAA has a quarterly hybrid meeting schedule.

    Election Day (June 1):

    The Biennial General Meeting (BGM) will take place in person at OISE and online via Zoom on June 1, 2026 at 5:30 p.m. ET. Votes will be gathered online for 48 hours prior to the BGM. The outgoing President will announce the final results at the BGM. Please consult the OISE Alumni Association Constitution.

    Candidate applications are due by Monday, May 18. Thank you for your interest.
